The blue flag is a distinction that beaches can receive for their water quality, safety and attention to people with functional diversity. Sitges has renewed its 9 beaches with this condition and remains the town with the most blue flags in Catalonia.

Les Botigues, Garraf, Aiguadolç, Balmins, Sant Sebastià, La Ribera, L’Estanyol, La Barra and Terramar, in addition to the Port Ginesta, are the blue flag beaches.

· Playa de Les Botigues: A family beach with fine sand and calm waters, ideal to enjoy with children. It has beach bars, restaurants and a children’s play area.

· Playa del Garraf: A wide and natural beach with views of the Garraf Natural Park. It is perfect for practicing water sports such as windsurfing and kitesurfing.

· Playa de Aiguadolç: A modern, cosmopolitan beach with a marina and a wide variety of restaurants and bars.

· Playa de Balmins: A quiet cove surrounded by vegetation, ideal to disconnect and relax.

· Playa de Sant Sebastià: The most emblematic beach in Sitges, located in the center of the town. It is a family beach with a lively atmosphere.

· Playa de La Ribera: A long, wide beach with fine sand and crystal clear waters. It is perfect for swimming, sunbathing and water sports.

· Playa de L’Estanyol: A small nudist cove with a calm and natural atmosphere.

· Playa de La Barra: A family beach with fine sand and calm waters. It has beach bars, restaurants and a children’s play area.

· Playa de Terramar: A residential beach with a quiet and family atmosphere. It has a promenade and garden area.

 Blue flag beaches have these services: Lifeguards, showers, toilets, regular cleaning of sand and water, rental of hammocks and umbrellas, beach bars and restaurants, children’s play area and access for people with desabilities.
