Summer is getting closer, June arrives with Corpus Christi, a celebration with great tradition and symbolism in Sitges, which is celebrated by making flower carpets through the most famous streets of the town and on the afternoon figures from the Fiesta Mayor of Sitges will be stepping on the flowers. This event will take place on Sunday, June 2.
Just three days later, on June 5, Sitges Gay Pride will begin, with events, floats, parades, music and parties. One of the new events is the High Heel Race, an obstacle course where participants must pass the test in high heels, meticulously measured by the presenter before the event begins. This event is organized and sponsored by Stay Sitges Accommodation.
Every day, facing the sea, on the Ribera promenade, the Pride Village will open at 8:00 p.m. and at 9:00 p.m. there will be the Opening Show with Lady Diamond. During the pride days there will be tributes to different world artists such as Black Eyed Peas, Tina Turner, Backstreet Boys, among others.
On Sunday, June 9, the Sitges Pride Parade 2024 will take place along the promenade from Kansas Restaurant to the Church before making its way back along the promenade. The entire parade will last approximately 2 hours.
This event will close the 5 intense days of Sitges pride. The High Heel Race on Saturday and the float parade on Sunday will be the main attractions of Sitges Gay Pride in 2024.
